1963 Salada Coins Complete Set of 63
FULL SET!!! This complete set of Salada Coins was issued in 1963 by Salada/Junket. A total of 63 coins were issued and called All-Star Baseball Coins. This set is EX+ with most of the coins on the higher end. Unlike 1962, the coins were made of metal and measured slightly larger 1-1/2" diameter. American League Players have blue rims and National League players have red rims. Coin fronts contain no printing on the full-color player photos, while the backs list the coin number, player name, team and position, along with a brief statistic and sponsor's logos. Key coins are as follows: Drysdale, Koufax, Gibson, Spahn, Snider, Banks, Cepeda, Mays, Clemente, Aaron, F. Robinson, Mathews, Mantle, Maris, B. Robinson, Aparicio, Kaline and Berra. A couple of the coins show minor wear on the edges. This set is strong. Many gradable coins in this set.
