Right-handed twirler Ben Wade tooled around with four different teams from 1948 thru 1955, playing five MLB seasons. After joining the "big-leagues" with the Cubs in 1948, he did not re-emerge with an MLB club until 1952 when the Brooklyn Dodgers called him up from the minors.
