1947 Sports Exchange Sheet Number One Baseball Miniatures Panel with Joe Jackson & Bob Feller RC - PSA 3 VG (ONE AND ONLY PSA-GRADED)
POP 1 JOE JACKSON!!! Baseball collectibles associated with the Sports Exchange boast images from the "International News Photo" agency. They were created in 1947 and highlighted players after World War II. The cards, measuring 7" x 10", were distributed through ads placed in the sports card publication named "The Trading Post". Cards were sold in three different groups of six 6-card panels that were made for collectors to hand cut. Single cards were not sold as the only way to get these cards were in the 6-card panels, sold for $1.00 for six panels totaling 36 cards. The three series of cards had different colored borders that framing a B&W image of each ball player. The offered 6-card panel is Sheet Number One and showcases six great players including: Slaughter, Feller in his rookie season and JOE JACKSON as well as three other players. Extremely RARE Panel showcasing JOE JACKSON and Bob Feller in his rookie year. The six cards appear to be in MINT condition if they were to be hand-cut. Offered in a POP 1 - PSA 3 VG holder, this is the only panel ever graded by PSA. Ultra RARE find offered here!!!
