(LOT 782)
Historically Significant 1916 World Series Program at Boston – Game 2, Babe Ruth 14-inning Complete Game Victory!

Scored. Boston victory 2-1 in 14 innings. The historical significance of this program far outweighs the minor condition defects. Ruth's first World Series pitching victory and 13 scoreless innings, as the start of his then-record scoreless innings streak that stretched to 29-2/3 frames. Boston defeats Brooklyn 4 games to 1 for the championship. Heavy center crease; spine separation at bottom; edge wear and light creases. About excellent condition.
