1933-34 R309-1 Goudey Premium Babe Ruth With Mailing Envelope
Presented is the 1933-34 Goudey R309-1 "George Herman "Babe" Ruth" Premium, the jewel of the 4-card set, which also features an A.L. and an N.L. All Stars card as well as a "1933 Worlds Champions" New York Giants. Produced following the 1933 campaign, each measures 5-1/2" x 8-3/4" on a thick cardboard stock, with a cardboard display easel on the reverse. This rare, eye-catching Ruth premium has only a hint of expected corner and border wear, with no visible defects. The reverse easel remains virtually unused and unfolded – completely intact. Slight residual of attached paper and tape visible; minor soiling. Mailing envelope is included and in very good condition. Overall EX-MT condition for this scarce keepsake from more than 88 years ago.
