1921 American Caramel E121 Set of 120 Near set 119/120 (Missing 1 Cobb) inc. 3 Ruth's with Some Trimmed
VINTAGE FIND!!! Offered here is an exciting find. Issued in 1921, this near set of E121's has 119 different of the 120 cards made for this set. These cards all have the "Set of 120" on the reverse. Black and White images on the fronts of these thin paper cards with the American Caramel Set of 120 advertising statement on the back. Loaded with legends, this group has 3 different Ruth's, Cobb, Alexander, Collins, Johnson, Hornsby, Wheat, Speaker and many more Hall of Famers included. Out of 119 different cards, there are 28 that haven't been altered and are in overall Fair condition with 91 cards having the white border trimmed and in Good condition. Key cards that aren't trimmed are as follows: Bancroft, Frisch, Hooper, Hornsby, Schalk, Sisler, Speaker, Wheat & Young. Key cards that are trimmed are as follows: Alexander, Cobb, Collins, Johnson & 3 - Ruth's. A very rare group of cards issued 100 years ago.
