Superb Original AL CAPP "Little Abner" Signed Original Sketch in Grey Pencil and Red color pencil. Sketch measures 6"x7". Overall matte measures 11.5"x12". Date 11/15/42. Time: 7:00PM. Capp was a cartoonist and humorist best known for the satirical comic strip Li'l Abner, which he created in 1934 and continued writing and (with help from assistants) drawing until 1977. He reached an estimated 60 million readers in more than 900 American newspapers and 100 foreign papers in 28 countries.
