This set is comprised of some of baseball's most famous Hall Of Fame Players; Mel Ott, Jimmie Foxx, Hank Greenberg, Pee Wee Reese (his Rookie year), Lefty Gomez, Bill Dickey and more!. Each card is a work of art. This classic, full color issue is without a doubt one of the most desirable of sets in the hobby. In fact two of the most popular cards in the set are of two of baseball's greatest legends having their greatest seasons. 1941 was the year Ted Williams hit .406, the last player to hit over .400 to date! And! 1941 was the year Joe DiMaggio hit in 56 straight games – a record that has become one of baseball's longest running records.
