This extremely eclectic offering portrays the iconic Ty Cobb holding a Southern Association Championship Silver Trophy with Irish Meusel (dressed in formal attire) and Carl Sawyer (in uniform) kneeling in front. The "Georgia Peach" is donning his classic mid-1910's Detroit pinstripe uniform with the image taken during the latter run of Cobb's incredible batting title run in which he led the league 12 out of 13 seasons (1907-'15; 1917-'19). Measuring approximately 8' x10", this J.C. Milligan struck illustration depicts a crystal-clear central image with its only major flaw being the wavy edges due to obvious manual trimming. The verso reveals the significant J.C. Milligan credit stamp, with this scarce photo sure to inspire any Ty Cobb enthusiast to pursue its final bid!
