(LOT 200)
"Unique for the Grade" 1951 Bowman #63 Bob Dillinger (PSA Gem Mint 10) – "1 of 1": The SOLE Highest Graded Example!

Right-handed hitting third baseman Bob Dillinger managed to post a stellar .307 lifetime average over 6 MLB seasons, with his best campaign being 1948 when he led the American League with 207 hits (to the tune of a .321 batting average). Fortunately for Dillinger, his legacy is kept fully in tact via this premier 1951 Bowman "PSA Gem Mint 10" offering that stands alone as the finest example of its kind! Indeed, PSA has not encapsulated a single other "10" 1951 Bowman Dillinger specimen, with its perfect assessment substantiated by the rich facial and green central image hues, near-perfect centering, snow white borders, gleaming obverse side surface and super clean back. For full disclosure, there is a slightly rough left edge factory cut that is very typical for many of the 1951 Bowman subjects, and most significantly, well within the accepted threshold of the rather strict PSA grading standards for high-grade cards. "UNIQUE FOR THE GRADE", this museum worthy masterpiece justifiably falls in that regal class of cards that proudly stands as the "best of the rest!"
