Willie is only one of 6 members of the legendary 600 home run club and, after hitting his 600th in 1969, was only the 2nd player to accomplish the feat since Babe Ruth. If Mays hadn't missed 266 games in 52 & 53 due to Military service, he would of challenged Babe Ruths HR record. He is considered by many experts to be the greatest '5 tool' player to ever grace the diamond, and is easily the greatest living ballplayer. This 1952 Topps card has clear registration set against a dark violet background and would make any advanced collector yearn to add this card to their collection.
