This rare Government Postcard, dated August 11th, 1956, has been boldly signed by Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Hall Of Famer, Roberto Clemente. This GPC which has been postmarked "Pittsburgh",was signed during the 1956 season in blue ball point pen. On July 25, 1956 in Forbes Field, Clemente hit the only documented walk-off, inside-the-park grand slam in modern MLB play. This postcard was signed just a little over 2 weeks after that feat. Signature has been PSA/DNA Pre-Certified.
