The man behind the plate for the Babe's controversial "Called Shot," Hartnett is best remembered today for his own historic homer, a bottom of the ninth walk-off blast into the Wrigley Field darkness to overtake the Pittsburgh Pirates late in the 1938 pennant race. Signed in blue ink on this lightly shellacked ONL Giles baseball, this Hartnett signature is beautiful. PSA/DNA LOA.
