1961 Fleer Basketball Unopened Wax Box 24 Packs BBCE Authenticated
UNOPENED WAX!!!... The 1961 Fleer Basketball series contains some of the most important Basketball cards ever issued, including rookie cards of Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Bob Cousy, Hal Greer and Oscar Robertson. The names in this 66 card Fleer Inaugural set are of some of the greatest ever to suit up, and is loaded with Hall of Famers. If you are fortunate to own one of these wax packs and felt like opening it, you would probably get multiple stars, based on the 66 card checklist.

This offered 24 pack nickel wax box is fresh to the hobby and was just authenticated by Steve Hart from BBCE. The key to this box is that each pack was looked at and evaluated by Steve Hart in which he also including players showing on top and on bottom on the COA sticker adhered to the base of the box. Five of the wax packs had key cards showing as indicated as follows: (1) Chamberlain Rookie on top, (1) Chamberlain Rookie IA on back, (1) Robertson Rookie on back, (1) Baylor Rookie on back & (1) West Rookie IA on back. Twenty-four unopened packs await the winning bidder, potentially containing GEM MINT examples of cards that would highlight any highend collection.

Consider that to date almost 30,000 cards from this series have been PSA graded and just 83 specimens received the GEM MINT 10 grade. Again, BBCE has examined the box and given it their seal of approval, wrapping and labeling it to verify the authenticity and signifying some of the visible cards on top and on bottom of some of the packs.
