AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!! The standout Ohio State Lineman Dave Templeton never looked better than in this spectacular 1948 Leaf rookie card depiction of him, in a PSA 8 offering. Incredibly, PSA has encapsulated over 50 examples with this being one of only three PSA 8's, and NONE graded higher. Templeton's representation on this magnificent example shares the spotlight as the "Best of the Rest" on the planet. The strikingly bright red and grey uniform colors nicely compliment his black & white facial image that provides superb contrast. The bold blue background is absolutely pristine, with perfect white borders and corners. This card would look at home in a MINT 9 PSA holder. Go the distance on this one!!!
