This trophy is NOT A salesman sample, although has approximately the same feel, look, weight, and dimensions as the original Super Bowl XXIX trophy would. This is a unique one-of-a-kind presentation piece.. This game was played at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami and was the first time a Super Bowl was ever played by two teams from the same state. This game was between the San Diego Chargers and the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers were going for their 5th Super Bowl Championship while the Chargers marked their first visit. The game had Super Bowl Records which still hold today. The total score of 75 points and total of 10 touchdowns scored are still in the record books.

In this memorable game, Steve Young threw for 6 TD's en route to the Super Bowl MVP award. He became the 5th player in league history to win the Super Bowl MVP Award and the MVP Player Award in the same season. Joe Montana lead the 49ers to four Super Bowl victories prior to Steve Young and this was the game that catapulted him off the shoulders of Joe Montana and into the 49ers Hall of Fame and Canton. So much history with this Super Bowl and we are offering you a big slice of that history. The trophy is a beautiful reminder of January 29th, 1995 and a must for the 49er enthusiast and or football fanatic. The trophy has all the detail as if it was given to Steve Young himself. The inscription on the Vince Lombardi trophy reads " Super Bowl XVI XIX XXIII XXIV XXIX. The plate states " San Francisco 49ers First Five Time World Champions". This item weighs 17 pounds and is approximately 18 inches high. There are a couple places where there are chips in the black portion of the stand. Does not detract from overall beauty of the piece.
