1972 Topps Basketball Complete Set with Seven SGC-Graded
The 1972 Topps Basketball set of 264 cards canvassed both NBA and ABA with some of the most striking and colorful hoops cards to-date which also included full color photographic shots of stars in action. The set featured 87 Hall of Famer issues as well as 24 rookie editions including Austin Carr, Artis Gilmore and Julius Erving. Offered here is a complete ungraded set of 1972-73 Topps Basketball accented with seven SGC encapsulated and graded as follows: SGC 8.5: 32 Jackson; SGC 8: 5 Maravich & 75 West; SGC 7: 1 Chamberlain; SGC 6.5: 195 Erving; SGC 6: 100 Abdul-Jabbar; and SGC 5.5: 255 Erving AS. The set appears very fresh and high-grade, exhibiting virtually no signs of handling. NM overall. Current estimated value of just the graded cards is over $1,500.
