NBA WARRIORS!!! Once teammates who cut the nets down at the Louisiana Superdome as NCAA Basketball champions with the North Carolina Tar Heels in 1982, Michael Jordan and James Worthy became bitter foes in the 1991 NBA Finals as Chicago toppled the mighty Lakers in 1991. Michael Jordan was in fact in the prime of his career as far as championships were concerned when this in-action Type 1 photograph was taken. Worthy, on the other hand, would retire three years later. The offered Chicago Sun Times photo from photographer Tom Cruze is captioned on the reverse as "James Worthy Grabs a Rebound from Michael Jordan" taken on "12/17/91". This fantastic 6-3/4" x 9-1/2" image of two Hall of Fame warriors remains in superb condition as the bespectacled Worthy and Jordan stand face to face as JW pulls the basketball out of MJ's reach. With strong white borders offering little to no wear save for a light touch at the lower right corner, this PSA encased photo still carries the caption on the back.
