NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!! By all rights, the 1892 Yale Bulldogs weren't just National Champions, they were possibly the most dominating team to ever step on to the gridiron. During Yale's fifth, and final, season with legendary head coach, Walter Camp (not pictured) the Bulldogs managed to hold their opponents scoreless through 13 games. The final three games of the season saw the Yale Bulldogs face their two most formidable opponents in Penn and Harvard, dealing both of those teams the only losses that they would see in their 1892 campaigns. At season's end, the 1892 Bulldogs had outscored their opponents 435 – 0. By just about anyone's metric it certainly wouldn't be ridiculous to call the 1892 Yale Bulldogs the Greatest College Football Team EVER! Very few relics remain from this era of organized Football and, offered here, is a museum worthy piece.
