BOCK!!! At the turn of the 20th century, William "Buck" Hooker had so much potential playing both in the outfield and on the mound. In only two years, Buck debuted in professional baseball in 1900 and then began to play at the highest level with the Cincinnati Reds in 1902. However, his time in the big leagues was short-lived, pitching only two seasons (1902-03) before returning to the minors for the remainder of his career. He went 0-1 in two starts for Cincinnati. Offered here is a 1909-11 T206 Old Mill Southern League (SL) Bock Hooker PSA Authentic Altered. This POP 4 example, with only 133 total issues graded, presents an excellent green background, strong white borders with a reasonably clear image and a wonderfully clean back.
