1909-11 T206 Jack Bliss Old Mill Cigarettes PSA 8 NM-MT
Jack Bliss hailed from the Pacific Northwest as one of only six players in MLB history from Vancouver, Washington. Prior to joining the St. Louis Cardinals, where played his entire big-league career, Bliss attended UC-Berkely and played in the Pacific Coast League with the Oakland Oaks and Los Angeles Angels. Jack Bliss then played five years for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1908-1912, serving as the primary backstop in 1911. Offered here is his 1909-11 T206 issue with a rare Old Mill back graded 8 NM-MT by PSA. This wonderful example has strong borders (very white) with sharp edging and corners. The color on this issue really pops and each surface appears clean and sharp. This POP 1 is exactly what you would expect from the highest graded copy in the industry. We proudly sold a similar example in September that cleared the $7,800 mark. This Jack Bliss with the rare Old Mill back should catch your eye, so make you play.
