Group of (5) Cesar Tovar Signed Cards - All PSA/DNA Authentic
Nicknamed "Pepito" and "Mr. Versatility," Cesar Tovar excelled from 1965 to 1976, most notably as the leadoff hitter for the Minnesota Twins during their back-to-back American League Western Division titles in 1969 and 1970. An outfielder/infielder and member of both the Minnesota and Venezuelan Baseball Halls of Fame, he passed away at the age of 54 on July 14, 1994, from pancreatic cancer in Caracas. Due to his relocation after his baseball career, his autograph is exceptionally rare. This collection features signed cards including: 1967 Topps #317, 1974 Topps #538, 1974 Topps Traded #538T, 1975 Topps Mini #178 and 1975 Topps #178. These five scarce cards are a must-have.
