MIGHTY MICK!!! The 1962 campaign would represent Mickey Mantle's final World Series title, with the Yankees besting the San Francisco Giants in a grueling seven-game affair. Coincidentally, it would also be this season that Topps added a "special" Mantle subject to their legendary checklist, with card #318 exhibiting three different sequential poses of The Mick's powerful swing. Presented here is that ultra-popular card in a breathtaking PSA 9 MINT holder, one of only eleven PSA encapsulated copies with not a single issue graded higher. Incredibly, the super condition-sensitive brown borders have retained virtually all of their factory-issued hues, and as hobbyists surely realize, this is no easy achievement.
