(LOT 80)
1969-72 Harmon Killebrew Signed Game-Used Hillerich & Bradsby Professional Model Bat PSA/DNA GU 8.5

Introducing a remarkable piece of baseball history: this game-used bat from Harmon Killebrew, affectionately nicknamed "The Killer." Graded by PSA's John Taube, a leading expert in game-used bat authentication, this bat boasts a PSA GU 8.5 rating, reflecting its near mint condition. Manufactured by Hillerich & Bradsby, this Model S207 bat measures 35 inches and weighs 30.7 ounces. It remains uncracked and shows evidence of extensive use, including visible ball marks and impressions on the left and back barrels, as well as cleat marks on both sides. A light coat of pine tar covers the handle for better grip. The model number (S207) is stamped into the knob, with Killebrew's #3 written in black marker.

His signature, along with the inscription "1969 M.V.P. AL Game Bat 49 Hr's 140 RBI," appears on the front and right barrel, and the autograph has been authenticated by PSA. This bat dates from the 1969-1972 labeling period, during Killebrew's illustrious time with the Minnesota Twins. Notably, 1969 was his American League MVP year, where he also led the league in RBIs and home runs. Killebrew, one of the game's most prolific power hitters, ranks among the top in major league history for home runs and was the AL career leader in home runs by a right-handed batter at the time of his retirement. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. Don't miss the opportunity to own this extraordinary bat from a true legend of the game, the 500 Home Run Hitter, Hammerin' Harmon. Comes with PSA Letters of Authenticity for both the bat and the signature.
