(LOT 1681)
Michael Jordan Chicago Tribune Type 1 Encapsulated Photo - Measures Approx. 8" x 10"

For 40 years, Bob Langer photographed Chicago sports for the Chicago Tribune and the Sun Times, capturing many magic moments and historical events in basketball, baseball, football and the Olympics. During the 1990s, no player, in any sport, was more recognizable or photographed than the inimitable Michael Jordan. The Chicago Bulls had the good fortune of rostering arguably the greatest player in NBA history, but most certainly the most photographable. Offered here is an original Chicago Tribune Bob Langer Type 1 photograph taken in 1990 as the Bulls faced the Golden State Warriors. Jordan is caught shooting a 3-pointer and setting yet another Bulls record with his 7th of the game as Scottie Pippen boxes out Manute Bol underneath the basket. This 8" x 10" Type 1 photo has been encased Authentic by PSA and remains in excellent condition, still displaying some of the layout markings around the border. The back still holds the caption, an inventory sticker and "Jan 19 '90" newspaper clipping.
