MJ ROOKIE!!!... Michael Jordan's shooting ability from the field and outside the paint is still remarkable, and it was evident from the beginning playing for the North Carolina Tar Heels. However, many fans forget that he was also named 1987-88 Defensive Player of the Year, a 9X All-Defensive team member and pulled down 6,672 rebounds with an additional 1,152 boards in the playoffs. Still considered by many as the GOAT, Michael Jordan's legacy goes far beyond his on-court statistics, but rather his contribution to the game and his unrelenting work ethic.

The offered 1984-85 Star #101 MJ graded PSA 6 EX-MT features the Hall of Famer on his first NBA card, as it was technically released prior to his 1986 Fleer "rookie". The 1984-85 Star card lacks any NBA statistics, only UNC stats. This rookie issue is rarer to boot, as it was distributed atop sealed team bags, of which it is believed fewer than 5,000 were released. The card presents EX-MT with sharp corners and a bright red color perimeter. The reverse is near flawless, and the pink-hued back remains vibrant and soft with vivid text.
