1952 Berk Ross Near-Complete Set with 5 PSA-Graded

Offered here is an ungraded and rarer Berk Ross near-set from 1952, with five graded examples, featuring some of the best players of the era including Mantle, Mays, DiMaggio, Williams and Doby, to name a few. Overall, this set presents 20% Poor to Fair, 55% Good to VG, 15% VG to VG-EX, and 10% EX or better. Five of the issues have been graded as follows: Berra PSA 5, J. DiMaggio PSA 2, Rizzuto Bunting PSA 6, Snider PSA 5 and Williams PSA 2.5. Doby, Mize and Reese display tape stains, while seven cards present tiny pin/staple holes including Collins, Lemon, Minoso, Musial, Rizzuto - Batting, Roberts & Wertz. Only missing from this coveted and unique set are Mantle, Mays and Robinson which are being sold in this auction as Lot 688, 691 and 692. Current estimated value of just the graded cards $1,200.
