Radiance and decent centering are evident on this 1909-11 T206 Christy Mathewson Portrait graded 5 EX by SGC. This fantastic T206 of Matty is brightly colored, clean with one of Bucknell's finest in his New York Giants jersey with a 150 Subject/ Factory 25 Piedmont ad-back. The reverse displays light discoloration at center, but nothing can detract from the beauty of the face with the Giants hurler. According to SGC's Pop Report, this is one of only eight at this high-grade with an equal number graded higher. Of the nearly 450 Mathewson Portrait Piedmont backed (non-qualified) issues graded by SGC and PSA, only 20 surpass this incredible example.
