(LOT 1971)
1968 George H.W. Bush Type-Written Letter Signed on Congress of United States Letterhead - PSA/DNA LOA

President George H.W. Bush wrote Donald Lass of West Allis, Wisconsin on 2/14/68 in part, "Thank you for your recent letter regarding the voting age. I appreciate having your views". 1968 was an important year for Bush, as he voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1968. He joined several other Republicans in issuing the party's response to the State of the Union address at the same time Nixon was considering selecting Bush as his running mate in the 1968 presidential election. Nixon ultimately chose Spiro Agnew instead. A great letter from our 41st President.
