(LOT 1871)
1907 Cleveland Naps Program with Lajoie and Coca Cola Ad

EXCEPTIONALLY RARE SCORECARD!!! In 1907, the Cleveland Naps finished 4th in the American League with an 85-67-6 record. Managed by Napoleon Lajoie, who batted .301 with 63 RBIs and 153 hits, Cleveland also featured Hall of Fame right fielder Elmer Flick and pitcher Addie Joss, who went 27-11 with a miniscule 1.83 ERA and 34 complete games in 42 starts. Offered is a 1907 Official Score Card of the Cleveland Baseball Club as they hosted the Philadelphia Athletics and topping Connie Mack's club 8-7. Displaying the fire-engine red Coca-Cola logo at the bottom half of this bright white, black and red-hued score card, Nap Lajoie's mug stares you right in the face. The interior has been pleasantly scored in pencil. Only light ballpoint marks are visible on the front with light soiling from more than 115 years of storage also seen throughout. Despite the evident expected aging, this remains a superior relic from more than a century gone by featuring Hall of Famer Nap Lajoie.
