1929 World Series Chicago Games 1 & 2 Press Pass Wrigley Field PSA Authentic

This 1929 World Series Pass, which once belonged to the Washington Post's famous baseball writer Shirley Povich, represented Games One and Two at Wrigley Field, where the Philadelphia Athletics took on the Chicago Cubs. The Athletics ended up winning the World Series in five games. Almost 95 years later, there were 12 Baseball Hall of Famers either umpiring, coaching or playing in that 1929 World Series, including Klem, Mack, Cochrane, Foxx, Grove, Collins, Simmons, McCarthy, Cuyler, Hartnett, Hornsby and Wilson. There were a dozen superstars that Povich got to see in action, and here we offer the original Press Pass that went through the gates of Wrigley Field two games in a row. An incredible keepsake for the Press Pass collector.
