Herb Pennock Signed Cancelled Check - 1927 New York Yankees Member PSA/DNA LOA
This check, mounted on a piece of cardboard, is signed by Baseball Hall of Famer Herb Pennock and written to Neil House for $1.00 on 1/12/43. Pennock pitched for the Yankees from 1923-1933. He's a six-time World Series champion, two with the Philadelphia A's and four with the NY Yankees (one being the 1927 Yankees Murderers' Row). 1948 Hall of Fame inductee Pennock was regarded as one of the greatest left-handed pitchers in baseball history. A rare signature as Pennock passed away very young in 1948 at the age of 53.
