1952 Topps Baseball Complete Low-Number Set (1-310) with 10 PSA-Graded

1952 LOW-NUMBER SET!!! When Topps Chewing Gum, Inc. entered the trading card fray in 1951 with the Red and Blue Back issues, the inaugural sets landed softly among collectors, but the landmark oversized 1952 Topps Baseball issue revolutionized what we now know as "the hobby" with larger and more eye-catching cards featuring the best players of the day. The 1952 Topps Baseball set was anchored by the likes of Yogi Berra, Robin Roberts, Willie Mays, Roy Campanella, Mickey Mantle and Eddie Mathews, among so many others. Each colorful and striking lithographic image captures the player as they are or what fans may imagine. Offered here is a 1952 Topps complete low-number set consisting of #1-310 including 10 PSA-graded issues.

Included among the PSA-encased cards are #s: 1 Pafko (PSA 1 PR), 11 Rizzuto (PSA 1 PR), 26 Irvin (PSA 1.5 FR(MK)), 33 Spahn (PSA 2 GOOD), 36 Hodges (PSA 1 PR), 59 Roberts (PSA 2 GOOD), 91 Schoendienst (PSA 2 GOOD), 191 Berra (PSA 1.5 FR), 246 Kell (PSA 3 VG) and 261 Mays (PSA 2.5 GOOD+). Overall, this low-number set remains in POOR condition with Hall of Famers and stars that include #s: 22 DiMaggio, 29 Kluszewski, 37 Snider, 57 Lopat, 65 Slaughter, 66 Roe, 67 Reynolds, 88 Feller, 99 Woodling, 122 Jensen, 129 Mize, 175 Martin, 195 Minoso, 200 Houk, 215 Bauer, 216 Ashburn, 227 Garagiola, 243 Doby, 250 Erskine, 268 Lemon, 274 Branca & 277 Wynn, with some better. However, regardless of condition, this 1952 Topps baseball set continues to be a cornerstone of the trading card hobby and this set should not be overlooked. Current estimated value of just the graded cards is $4,550.
