1914 B18 Blankets Partial Set
110-YEAR-OLD BLANKETS!!! In the early 20th century, tobacco companies had no shortage of supply when it came to marketing ploys, such as their cardboard enticements. For a brief time, they decided these felts would be a good marketing campaign. Most of these pieces of cloth have long since been used to patch together to make quilts, which was their intended purpose. Making survivors in shorter supply than demand. Offered here is a nice near-set that is being offered to the hobby for the first time since production. This lot includes 82 different B18 Blankets with 30% EX or better, 45% VG to VG-EX, 10% FR and 15% being lesser. Includes: Chapman PB (EX), Cobb (VG-EX), Chance (VG), Gandil (EX+), Johnson (EX), 62 Stengel (PR) and 64 Wheat (VG-EX).
