1975 Topps Mini #223 Robin Yount PSA 9 MINT
ROCKIN' ROBIN!!! As only an 18-year-old, Robin Yount showed the "poise and ability of a Marty Marion" with a humble, unassuming nature and a team-first demeanor. Yount captured the Milwaukee Brewers shortstop position as a teenager and did not relinquish it for 20 years. Despite having a fairly small frame at 6' and 165 lbs., Yount was a pure, but unorthodox hitter, driving the ball and putting it in play as opposed to swinging for the fences. Leading the AL twice in doubles, Robin averaged 33 two-baggers a year and retired with 583. Yount played all out, all the time and earned two MVP awards, three All-Star nods, three Silver Sluggers and one Gold Glove. Offered here is a 1975 Topps MINI #223 Robin Yount PSA 9 MINT. This brightly colored issue stands boldly with a razor-sharp orange and brown border, exceptionally flawless surfaces and superb centering.
