SANTA BARBARA BOMBER!!! Eddie Mathews was the only player to play for the Braves franchise in all three cities of Boston, Milwaukee and Atlanta. That longevity and consistency allowed Cap'n Eddie to amass 2,315 hits including 512 home runs and 354 doubles batting third in front of Hank Aaron. He also twice led the NL in home runs. Mathews and Aaron led the Braves to only their second World Series title in 1957 with a seven-game win over the New York Yankees.
