1926-27 W512 Complete 10-Card Basic Set
The 1926-27 W512 multi-sport set featured 60 athletes from baseball to golf and newsworthy aviators and Hollywood icons. Baseball players made upon sixth of the series of hand cuts issues distributed in strips. Presented here is a complete set from the 1926-27 W512 issued with #3 Ty Cobb graded PSA 6 EX-MT and #6 Babe Ruth graded PSA 3 VG. The remainder of the series is ungraded and with the exception of #1 Dave Bancroft, all appear to be VG-EX to EX or better. Card #2 of Alexander has a pencil notation of "1927" on the back. It should also be noted that cards #s 2, 4 and 7 are slightly undersized. The set includes one version of each card and no additional variations.
