1914 Cracker Jack #32 Mordecai Brown PSA 4 VG-EX

THREE FINGER TREAT!!! Presented here is a PSA 4 VG-EX 1914 Cracker Jack #32 Mordecai Brown that has only been bested by twelve PSA examples. Due to a serious farm accident, two of Brown's fingers were damaged on his right hand, eventually leading to the right-hander's iconic "Three Finger" nickname and incredible HOF career. Who would have possibly guessed that Brown's deformed fingers would generate virtually unhittable movement on his pitches, resulting in Mordecai's microscopic 2.06 ERA being the third lowest all-time mark. His majestic pitching image as a member of the Federal League's St. Louis Terriers reveals fine positioning, modestly favoring the right edge. Stealing the show is the ultra-bold fire engine red setting, with both sides atypically eluding any obtrusive caramel staining or glaring creases. Even corner wear accounts for the grade, with the sparkling presentation being the highlight for what is considered one of Brown's most coveted cardboard issues!
