TAKE A CHANCE!!! By 1911, HOF first sacker Frank Chance had led the Cubbies to two world championships (1907-08) while being the final link of the iconic "Tinker to Evers to Chance" double-play combination that will echo for eternity. One of his most elusive vintage cards is this 1911-14 Brunners Bread PSA 3 scarcity, joined by a meager four other Brunners specimens and only bested by three examples! The classic batting pose is well projected via the vibrant baby blue and lime green background hues, with the well-centered image eluding any obtrusive surface flaws/creases. Accounting for the assessment are rounded corners (including mild layering), some stray surface abrasions along several borders, spotted areas of soiling, and general surface wear. Most significantly, none of these flaws compromise the critical central image, with the final compliment being the super desirable Brunners Bread ad back that seldom surfaces for the taking on an aesthetically pleasing Chance subject!
