THE CHIEF!!! One of the renowned Turkey Red set's HOF twirlers is legendary right-hander Chief Bender, presented here in an eye-pleasing PSA 4 holder. The great Chief Bender ably assisted Connie Mack's Athletics in capturing three world championships in a four-year period (1910-1913). Bender won 212 games to the tune of a sparkling 2.46 lifetime ERA, while claiming six Fall Classic victories in his imposing 16-year career. The card reveals a breathtaking bender hands-at-chest pitching pose, highlighted by sparkling hues and the lack of any major creases and/or notable surface flaws. Consistent with the assessment is even corner wear, typically evident on most T3s, as well as some negligible edge toning. One of the Chief's most fascinating cardboard issues, it has retained many of its original awe-inspiring features to merit it a final resting place in any esteemed T3 collection!
