When we speak of baseball's foremost unbreakable records, the first that comes to mind is the immortal Cy Young's 511 lifetime victories, with his unparalleled wins total prompting the annual pitching excellence award to forever carry his sanctified name. A fine testament to his iconic stature is this PSA 4.5 VG-EX+ T3 Turkey Red Cy Young offering, which is one of only three examples at this seldom-surfacing plateau. The majestic cabinet projects splendid central image aesthetics, highlighted by no notable creases, sparkling hues and stellar clarity as the great Cy has just unleashed another tantalizing pitch. Neighboring flaws encompassing the hallowed image are a series of diminutive soiling dots in the upper right quadrant (primarily on the border), modest surface abrasions (along the lower edge, lower left corner, and lower left edge), a peripheral toning streak along the lower edge, and soiling near the lower right edge.
