1972 Topps #195 Julius Erving Rookie PSA 9 MINT
DOCTOR DUNK!!! As one of the most dynamic players in NBA history, Dr. J influenced a generation of stars with his superb shooting and thunderous dunks, considered some of the greatest ever caught on film. Beginning with the ABA's Virginia Squires and the New York Nets, Erving made a name for himself, other than Dr. J, finishing second in ABA Rookie of the Year voting in 1972 before winning three consecutive ABA MVP awards from 1973-76 while leading his Nets to titles in 1974 & '76. He would add another MVP award in 1981 with the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA and lead them to an NBA championship in 1983. Presented here is the 1972 Topps #195 Julius Erving rookie card in a PSA 8 NM-MT holder from PSA with Erving donned in his Squires jersey. This one has brilliant color, sharp corners and borders, and an overall richness. This is an exceptional example of the 16-time All-Star that has only a single superior!
