GEM MINT CLEMENTE!!! This 1972 Topps #310 Roberto Clemente In Action turned out to be his final card while he was still playing. Baseball suffered a significant loss both on and off the field when Clemente died in a plane crash amidst a humanitarian effort to bring aid to the earthquake-devastated Nicaragua. However, in true Clemente fashion, Roberto notched his 3,000th hit on September 30th, 1972, fulfilling one of his personal goals. He passed away only three months later. Memory Lane is excited to be offering this GEM MINT 10 card of Roberto Clemente from the 1972 Topps release.
