1965 Topps #170 Hank Aaron PSA 9 MINT
1965 HAMMER!!! In his first eleven seasons in the Major Leagues with the Milwaukee Braves, Hank Aaron cleared the 2,000-hit mark with 1,200 runs batted in and 360 homers. His triumphs and accolades included a 1957 National League MVP Award and World Series title, three Gold Gloves and 14 of his 25 All-Star nods. Crazy, until you think about what he did after. From 1965 to his 1976 retirement, Hammerin' Hank added more than 1,600 hits, 380 HRs and 1,080 RBIs to finish his career as MLB's greatest home run hitter (755) and RBI man (2,297). He averaged 37 homers over 23 years and only hit fewer than 20 homers in his first and final two seasons. REMARKABLE! Offered here is a 1965 Topps #170 Hank Aaron PSA 9 MINT. This falls right in the middle of his career, but is a pinnacle example to be sure. Only three issues surpass this high-grade 9 MINT displaying blood-drawing corners and edging. Aaron is framed perfectly within four white borders and this card looks fresh from the pack. Exceptional!
