Hammerin' Hank signed this Lee MacPhail Official American League baseball on the sweet spot in blue ink. A long and extremely legible signature from this larger-than-life human who played for the Detroit Tigers between 1930 and 1947. He was a 5X All-Star, 2X World Series champ, 2X AL MVP, 4X AL home run leader and 4X AL RBI leader. He served in WWII from 1940-1944 serving the Army and the Army Air Forces, where he was a captain with the 58th Bomber Wing. The Hebrew Hammer was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1956. He's been considered one of the best sluggers in Major League history. A great baseball to add to your Baseball Hall of Fame collection.
