Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig & McCarthy Multi-Signed OAL Baseball JSA LOA
This Official American League Reach-USA baseball has been signed by Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Joe McCarthy. According to the LOA from JSA, this baseball's era is 1927. All three Baseball Hall of Famers were friends up until Ruth's retirement in 1931, when Ruth expected to take over as the Yankees manager until lo and behold, McCarthy stepped in and took over the reins. This was during Gehrig's prime, and Gehrig immensely respected McCarthy, and Ruth knew it. Signed in a steel tip black fountain pen, signatures in our opinion rate a 3/4. With the Sultan of Swat on the sweet spot, Gehrig signs on the west panel and McCarthy signs below Ruth on the south panel. A great baseball from these three Yankee Legends.
