1951 Wheaties Complete Set of Single Serve Boxes
The General Mills Wheaties cereal brand relationship with professional sports continues nearly 100 years after the formula was perfected. In 1934, a marriage was consummated once Wheaties featured New York Yankees Lou Gehrig on the front of the box. The practice of depicting the athlete of the "day" continues today. Presented is a complete set of PSA-graded Single Serve boxes as follows: PSA 8: Lujack & Musial; PSA 6: Snead & Williams; PSA 5: Mikan; and PSA 4: Feller. The visually striking colors of this assemblage are undeniable and there appears only the slightest amount of color wear at the bottom of a few along the orange "Breakfast of Champions" tagline.
