PSA lists 22 PSA 9 MINT unsigned examples, with this lofty assessment fetching a staggering average value of $173K, even with many of these 9s plagued by some level of imperfect centering. Presented here is arguably the finest visually appealing ‘57 Topps signed Mantle on the planet, with this PSA 5's virtually perfect positioned image reflecting ZERO TILT, and only a slight favoritism towards the right edge. As a critical added bonus, most autographed copies depict undesirable vertical signatures along either Mantle's classic pinstripes or in the dark background.

This best of the best marvel just happens to boast a PSA 9 MINT black ballpoint pen horizontal script directly in the middle of The Mick's jersey. The 45 signed '57 Topps Mantles on the PSA Pop Chart represent a microscopic 0.6% of the 7,900+ unsigned examples, and you would be lucky to find a few specimens that could possibly compete with this POP 5 offering's brilliant presence. From a grading perspective, only two PSA examples have been graded higher, but both of those arguably fall short of this subject's unparalleled aesthetics!
