On September 26th, Dave Roberts game used this bat during Nolan Ryan's 5th No hitter night. The bat is signed by the entire team on that night, including Nolan Ryan. 1981 Nolan Ryan accomplished a feat that few pitchers have ever done before, Ryan threw his 5th no-hitter. which was game used on that night by team member Dave Roberts. Our consignor James Ewell Jr.'s father was a major league baseball trainer, and was given this bat on that No Hitter Night. The signatures that are included on this bat are Nolan Ryan, Don Sutton, James Ewell Sr., and the rest of the Houston Astros team.
