(LOT 21)
1915 Cracker Jack #65 Tris Speaker PSA 8 NM-MT

PACK-FRESH SPEAKER!!! Presented here is one of the Gray Eagle's most desirable vintage cards, a spectacular PSA 8 NM-MT 1915 Cracker Jack subject only bested by a paltry four PSA examples! Along with Cobb, Mays, DiMaggio, and Griffey, Jr., experts consider Tris Speaker to be one of baseball's premier all-time center fielders. Author of a .345 lifetime batting average via his 3,514 hits, Speaker revolutionized the center field position by playing almost behind second base, enabling him to gather the most outfield assists in baseball history, including a single-season record of 35 in 1909. Speaker's classic image suffices as one of the hobby's most widely recognized and coveted poses, and this example certainly doesn't disappoint.

Set against a seemingly flawless red-hued background, the details of Speaker's striped uniform and cap are extremely vivid, with his glove jutting out of his back right pocket. Most significantly, no standard glaring caramel corn staining is evident on either side, and the image boasts atypical near-perfect centering between four lightly toned borders, the final superlative justifying why you should capture this esteemed Speaker keepsake!
